Apostle Hattie B. Stancil Apostle Dr. Hattie B. Stancil is widely recognized for integrity, responsibility, and exemplary character. As a dynamic leader, Dr. Stancil inspires and motivates individuals to reach new heights. Dr. Stancil serves as the pastor of two churches and three satellites ministries across North Carolina: Harvest Word Healing and Deliverance Ministry in Zebulon, Barbee’s Chapel Harvest Word Ministries in Chapel Hill, and three satellite ministries in Harvest Word Ministry of Fuquay Varina, Harvest Word Ministry of Middlesex, and New Dimension Hotel in Elm City.
Dr. Stancil earned a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree in Religion from the New Life Community Church School of Ministry in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, between 2003 and 2006. Following these academic achievements, Dr. Stancil served as a faculty member at the institution for seven years. In 2008, demonstrating a commitment to education, Dr. Stancil founded the Safe Haven Interdenominational Bible College and Training Institute, which continues to thrive. A devoted civic and community servant, Dr. Stancil established the Esther House Outreach Ministry in Zebulon, providing essential resources and life skills training to women seeking a second chance. In 2015, Dr. Stancil launched the Esther House Thrift Store, offering quality clothing and household items at affordable prices. The “Parents without Partners” program, an extension of the Esther House Ministry, equips women with the skills to set life and family goals, manage finances, and raise their children effectively. Currently, the Esther House program offers transitional housing and counseling to single women working to rebuild their lives. In 2015, the Esther House Ministry received significant support through a partnership with Olin T. Binkley Baptist and Barbee’s Chapel Harvest Word Churches, enabling the renovation of several homes for families and individuals in need. Dr. Stancil is also an accomplished author and playwright. In 2014 and 2015, Dr. Stancil wrote and produced the original stage play “From Then Until Now,” which chronicles the spiritual and historical journey of African Americans in the United States. This production has been presented in numerous cities. Additionally, Dr. Stancil published a poetry collection, “A Voice from All of Us,” in 2015, raising awareness about the challenges faced by individuals in various life situations. |
